Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan.
Mix dry ingredients:
Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
Set aside
Cream wet ingredients:
Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy (3-4 minutes)
Mix in orange zest
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each
Combine remaining wet ingredients:
Mix orange juice, milk, and vanilla in separate bowl
Combine batters:
Alternately add dry ingredients and wet ingredients to butter mixture
Begin and end with dry ingredients (3 dry, 2 wet additions)
Mix until just combined
Bake:
Pour into prepared pan
Bake 50-55 minutes until toothpick comes out clean
Cool in pan 10 minutes
Invert onto wire rack
Make glaze:
Whisk powdered sugar, orange juice, zest, and melted butter
Pour over completely cooled cake
Notes
Use room temperature ingredients
Don't overmix batter
Rub zest into sugar before creaming for enhanced flavor
Store at room temperature up to 3 days
