For the Chicken

  • 1.5 pounds Boneless, skinless chicken breasts (Cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • 0.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil (For pan-frying)

For the Honey Garlic Sauce

  • cup Honey
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 4 cloves Garlic (Minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • ¼ teaspoon Red pepper flakes (Optional heat)
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Water (For slurry)

For Garnish

  • Sesame seeds
  • Sliced green onions
  • Fresh cilantro - Optional

Instructions

  • Cut chicken into 1-inch pieces. Pat dry. In a bowl or bag, combine flour, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika. Add chicken and toss to coat lightly. Shake off excess.
  • Heat oil over medium-high. Add chicken in a single layer. Cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (165°F). Remove to a plate.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds. Stir in honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Mix cornstarch + water, then add to skillet. Stir until thick and glossy.
  • Return chicken to skillet. Toss for 1–2 minutes until fully coated and caramelized. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
  • Top with sesame seeds, sliced green onions, and cilantro. Serve hot for best stickiness.
