Ingredients

  • 2 cups 1 pound unsalted butter, softened
  • 8 cloves fresh garlic minced
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon dried chives

Instructions

  • Leave butter at room temperature for 1 hour until softened. Place softened butter in a mixing bowl.
  • Using a spoon, whip the butter until creamy and smooth.
  • Add minced garlic and fresh parsley. Mix well to combine.
  • Add all dried herbs and spices. Pour in fresh lemon juice. Mix thoroughly until everything is evenly distributed.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings if needed.
  • Place the butter mixture on plastic wrap and roll into a log shape. Wrap tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.
  • Slice as needed and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use a food processor to mince garlic and herbs
  • Make a double batch and freeze half
  • Prep ingredients while butter softens
  • Use herb paste if fresh herbs aren't available
