Ingredients

For the Chicken Filling

  • 3 cups cooked chicken - shredded or diced
  • 8 oz cream cheese - softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese - shredded
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup green onions - finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic - minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt - adjust to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

For the Pillows

  • 2 packages (8 oz) crescent roll dough - 16 triangles total
  • 4 tablespoon butter - melted
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan - for topping

Optional Add-Ins

  • ½ cup bacon - cooked crumbles
  • ¼ cup jalapeños - diced, for heat
  • 1 cup spinach - chopped, squeezed dry
  • ½ cup buffalo sauce - mix into filling
  • fresh herbs - parsley, chives

Instructions

  • Combine cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Add chicken, cheddar, green onions, garlic, and seasonings. Mix well and let rest.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  • Add 2–3 tablespoon filling to wide end of each triangle. Fold sides over and roll to seal.
  • Place pillows seam-side down, brush with seasoned butter, sprinkle parmesan.
  • Bake 20–25 minutes or until golden and puffed. Rest 5 minutes before serving.
