Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded chicken cooked Use cooked shredded chicken breast or thighs
  • 2 ripe avocados diced Ensure avocados are ripe for creaminess
  • ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt Adds creaminess and tang
  • 1 lime juiced (For freshness and flavor balance)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder For seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt To taste
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper To taste
  • ¼ cup red onion finely chopped Adds sharpness and crunch
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped For freshness and color
  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps Use soft, pliable tortillas
  • Optional: lettuce and sliced tomatoes For added crunch and flavor

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, diced avocados, Greek yogurt, lime juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Gently mix until evenly incorporated, leaving some avocado chunks intact.
  • Stir in the red onion and parsley until evenly distributed.
  • Warm the tortillas by stacking them, wrapping them in a damp towel, and microwaving for 30–60 seconds.
  • Divide the chicken avocado mixture evenly among the tortillas, placing it in the center of each one.
  • Optionally, add lettuce and sliced tomatoes on top.
  • Fold in the sides of the tortillas and roll tightly into wraps. Slice in half and serve immediately.

Notes

For a softer wrap, warm tortillas before filling. This recipe is best enjoyed fresh as the avocado will brown over time.
