  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch -Mixed with water to thicken the filling
  • 2 tablespoon Butter - For sautéing the apples
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 12-16 pieces Egg roll wrappers
  • 1 cup Oil for frying - Vegetable oil enough to submerge the rolls
  • ½ cup Cinnamon sugar - For dusting the fried egg rolls
  • ¼ cup Caramel sauce - Optional for dipping
  • 2 tablespoon Powdered sugar - Optional for dusting
  • ¼ cup Chopped nuts - Optional for topping

Instructions

  • Cook chopped apples in butter, add sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla, then thicken with cornstarch slurry. Let cool.

  • Lay egg roll wrapper as a diamond, add cooled filling, fold, and roll tightly. Seal edges with water.
